10.4.10 time! - Silencio - 06-20-2007 http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305533 Or in your Software Update. Re: 10.4.10 time! - Zoidberg - 06-20-2007 Considering the mess that Apple's Airport 7.1 and 7.1.1 updates have caused to my clients' set-ups, I think I'll wait a week or two on this one. I think all of Apple's brains are in the iPhone department right now and everything else is getting back-burnered. YMMV, as always. Re: 10.4.10 time! - jimbrady - 06-20-2007 That's so not exclamation point-worthy. The software update that should never have been (10.5 would be OK), not to mention the fact that 10.4.10 comes right after 10.4.1 in a list sorted numerically. Re: 10.4.10 time! - Lew Zealand - 06-20-2007 [quote jimbrady]That's so not exclamation point-worthy. The software update that should never have been (10.5 would be OK), not to mention the fact that 10.4.10 comes right after 10.4.1 in a list sorted numerically. Try listing these in the Finder: Mac OS 10.4.1 Mac OS 10.4.2 Mac OS 10.4.10 They will list as you see here, not as 1, then 10, then 2. So there's no problem. Re: 10.4.10 time! - Andrew - 06-20-2007 At least it puts to rest the eternal question -- "what will they name the update after 10.4.9?" Re: 10.4.10 time! - vicrock - 06-20-2007 Downloaded - installed - requires a double restart. Everything seems stable here. Re: 10.4.10 time! - JoeH - 06-20-2007 Anyone have Alchemy DVR software installed and install this update? Last couple of OS updates and security updates I have installed needed a reinstall of the Miglia Alchemy software to work properly. Kept prompting me to reenter my password every time I scheduled something to record and after every scheduled recording finished. Wondering if this update will require the same. If so, I need to give myself extra time to do both. Version of Alchemy I have been using is 2.4.1, found the 2.5 version froze my system completely at random times requiring a forced shutdown. Re: 10.4.10 time! - Seacrest - 06-20-2007 10.4.10 is not equivalent to 10.4.1 Those periods are NOT decimals. It is like having two IP addresses: 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.10, both of which are separate and distinct. 192.168.1.1 192.168.1.2 192.168.1.3 192.168.1.4 192.168.1.5 192.168.1.6 192.168.1.7 192.168.1.8 192.168.1.9 192.168.1.10 192.168.1.11 Re: 10.4.10 time! - Racer X - 06-20-2007 first .10 update ever AFAIK. Re: 10.4.10 time! - GGD - 06-20-2007 [quote Racer X]first .10 update ever AFAIK. Have you taken a look at the version numbers for Google Earth and Skype? They appear to have passed .10 a long time ago. |
