Tattoos may not be manly, but on a female they certainly are not feminine.
Piercings manly? Maybe in some fictional accounts of pirates.
Stabbing:meh
Motorcycles- still manly. Not too many females riding. usually only as passengers.
Leather:as with anything, little is manly by default; must be worn by right 'man' - John Wayne, perhaps.

From what I see around here, the requirement for driving, and to some extent riding (front seat vs back seat) has to do with weight. It would seem that you cannot have a Harley unless you tilt in at 200 pounds or more.

Motorcycles may still be manly, but mostly for men who are willing to look absolutely ridiculous. Knock-off cruisers are the worst; Harleys a close second. Or the other way around.

I can't believe how many people (Males, of average, not 200+ pounds) are buying and riding motorbikes around here. It's double or tripled from the last decade. (at work, I mean).
