Is there a way to burn an iPhoto slideshow in Toast? - GeneL - 07-26-2007

I put together a small slideshow in iPhoto which automatically adds the dissolves, the Ken Burns effect and its default music and now I'd like to make a copy on DVD.

So far I haven't been able to figure out how to take this slideshow, just as it is, and import it into either Toast or iDVD, so that I can make a disk.

Can anyone describe how to do this for me?

Thanks for your thoughts,

GeneL

Not in front of my Mac right now, but one way goes something like this:

File menu-> Share (or Export)
Choose Quicktime Full Quality

Then you can drag the resulting file into any iDVD menu, or burn it with Toast.

I did what you suggested, but when I dragged the file into Toast, at first I got a "no go" message about using the audio. I played around with Toast's settings and finally got it to work, BUT I'M NOT SURE HOW???

Can someone explain so I'll know the settings for next time?

Thanks!

I have Toast, but I usually use iDVD for video projects as I like the menus much better, so I can't help you much in that regard. I'm not sure about any special settings that would be necessary. I think dragging it in worked for me last time, but that file was not generated by iPhoto.
