I will say, I could take or leave my AlBook or MBP - great machines for work, but I will always have a soft spot in my heart for my TiBook. I love that solidness of that case design.

500 MHz Ti? It was a great laptop up to about 2 years ago. If you can get it for $500, it might start to appreciate if you can keep it pristine and unused for another 10 years.

I always wanted one just so I could say the case frame was made of titanium. Working in a
metalworking environment I think that would be cool.
