Website to find a price for old Macs - pinion - 08-23-2007

Just want to know how much I should ask for my Apple Powerbook G4 15.2"/1.67GHz - 128MB Graphics/1.0GB RAM Combo drive. Any websites out there other than looking at ebay listings?

edit>
I know this has been asked before but I was also wondering best day/time I should list on ebay as well as number of days to list for? I heard 5 was good.

Also if anyone else is interested in it just pm me and we can work something out... Hope that's not breaking any rules... if so don't pm me Wink

http://www.everymac.com has "Estimated Current Retail" pricing information for each model, but I don't know where they get their data. I think what they have listed is about twice the actual market value for any given model. If I used their pricing data (updated July 23, 2007) as a guide I don't think I'd sell many '04 iBooks - US$575-US$700! Wow! ::o Of course, if you look at http://powermax.com/ somebody must be paying those kinds of prices.

Checking completed eBay auctions is probably the easiest way to determine a ballpark market value...good luck!

Hmmm...I'll have to take Terapeak Free for a spin - thanks for the link MGS_f_p Wink

Ebay is probably the best gauge of the market there is. You can ask whatever you want but you'll only get what people are willing to pay. Start it at $500 and let the market work itself out. If you have lots of pictures you'll probably get higher bids.
