www.andaspiritusa.com is the website for free carriage ride vouchers. With the blizzard coming this weekend, i'm sure alot of people will cancel and not go into the city. So it might be worth it to go on the stand-by line for people with no vouchers.
The smell of horse manure is not my idea of a romantic time, but hey it's free.

Got my voucher by eMail just now. It took them about 6 hours to process.
A snowy carriage ride through Central Park on a Sunday afternoon.

Judging by the paltry 30 views this post got, I doubt anyone cares... but here's an update note from the website:
Due to an overwhelming number of requests for vouchers, we are no longer making reservations online. If you would like to obtain a voucher for a Horse and Carriage ride, please go to the event location 59th and Columbus Circle and there will be attendants distributing vouchers on a first come, first serve basis. Happy Valentine's Day!
