a friend of mine is using his t-mobile account with his iphone.
the main difference is that fancy iphone voicemail thing doesn't work. other than that its fine.

I just unlocked an iPhone purchased here in the US and now being used in Canada. No problem. Provider is ATT/Rogers. You switch the SIM and follow the instructions.

I've got an unlocked iPhone on T-Mobile.
You can't use the data your Sidekick plan provides. You would only get the text messages, not data, if you used it in an iPhone.

Unlocked t-mobile over here too. Works well. Only missing feature is the visual voicemail.
