how do I know for sure?
An app I've dl'd needs 1.5.
I'm running 10.4.8 and under ASP, I see:
Java 1.4.2 plug in settings v11.5.0
Java cache viewer 11.5.0
both from Feb of '07
wtf?

10.4.8 has java 1.5
