I went snowboarding Saturday night - mikebw - 12-11-2007
And now my shoulders, arms and upper back are sore. It's probably from all the balancing, used muscles I haven't in a while.
I would have thought my legs would be sore too but not really. I guess I keep them well in regular use.
Now I am looking into buying a used board. Rentals are like $40 per day, and new boards are over $300. I've been boarding a couple times now and I'm sure I will get use out of one. Seems like there are decent used deals on Craigslist in the $100's.

Look at craigslists for those areas hardest hit by global warming and/or the flatlands.
I bet other non-mountainous/hilly city's sellers would have the steals.

No doubt. The first time I went snowboarding, I couldn't walk right for 3 days. kj.
