Pretty scary that amongst his "Bogeymen" are both an entire foreign country and also his own home state!

As a long time Mass. resident I do know that it is not his home state. He should not have been allowed to be placed on the ballot as a resident as he had resided for nearly 3 years in Utah prior to the election. But the election commission had been stacked by the Republicans for the previous decade, so even though he had filed taxes as either a part year resident, or not a resident of the state, his nomination by that party was accepted.

This document was leaked in February of 07, and it looks like they are sticking pretty close to the strategy they developed back then.

Not sure what is scarier -- the idea of another bugfsck crazy faith-based president, or a "Power Point President"
Imagine him giving each of his top advisers 3 minutes to "pitch" their proposals to him, and some key piece of information being omitted from the National Security Estimate because it made the bullet point too long for the cool slide-in transition the presenter wanted to use on that slide.

New York did not have a 7 year continuous prior residency requirement. MA does for a candidate for governor. Romney was picked basically to avoid a fight between a couple factions of the state Republican party.
