Safari Tabs Question - Stavs - 02-06-2008 How do I get Safari to open new windows in tabs when I click on link? I seemed to be able to do this in v2, but not in v3. I cant even find it in prefs. Re: Safari Tabs Question - swampy - 02-06-2008 Prefs>Tabs>New pages should open in • New Tab I set my right mouse button to do the COMMAND+CLICK and it works for me. Re: Safari Tabs Question - Stavs - 02-06-2008 Not an option in my prefs window. So what gives? Re: Safari Tabs Question - lafinfil - 02-06-2008 Does your Safari preference panel look like this ? ![]() Re: Safari Tabs Question - Stavs - 02-06-2008 Yep. Thats my window. Re: Safari Tabs Question - lafinfil - 02-06-2008 If the top box is checked it should open with a command click like swampy said I too have my right button set for command click which works and I just tried it manually (left button + command key) and that worked too. Safari Version 3.0.4 (523.12.2) in 10.4.11 If it's not working something must be mucked up Re: Safari Tabs Question - MEG - 02-06-2008 Do you mean opening in a new tab when you click a link in another app (i.e., Mail)? Try: Prefs -> General -> Open Links from Applications: in a new tab in the current window Re: Safari Tabs Question - jdc - 02-06-2008 its command + click, always has been Re: Safari Tabs Question - OWC Jamie - 02-06-2008 Does Safari still have a reset ? Re: Safari Tabs Question - Stavs - 02-07-2008 Comman click works, but I remember just being able to click would open in a new tab..I swear it was an option like swampy said. |
