I'm trying get one for my XO, but for some reason they keep selling them to poor kids first, so there are none left for me.

I have one of these for charging cell phones:

Slow, but it will work if you keep the charger in direct sunlight.
Paid $15 on ebay, not worth the retail price.

That Travelsmith web page is completely devoid of details but judging from the size (relative to the carabiner), I'd say it's probably too small to power much of anything. Unfortunately, solar panels just aren't that efficient yet.

I've picked up (non-folding) 20 watt panels for under $100 off ebay.

Unless you have a big battery, you'll need a charge controller with the above (see ebay or amazon)
