Another InDesign Question - MysteryGuest - 02-15-2008 I created a smaller document from a poster document and now I have a gigantic pasteboard. Very odd, used to Quark automatically adjusting pasteboard based on a percentage of the page. Is there any way to adjust this? Re: Another InDesign Question - DaviDC. - 02-15-2008 Have you tried to copy everything, create a new document the size you need, then paste it? Re: Another InDesign Question - bazookaman - 02-15-2008 I think this has been present in ID for awhile. Sometimes when people would complain about their pasteboard being too SMALL, they would be told to resize the doc to a much larger size, save it, than resize the doc back to normal. The pasteboard would stay the size of the larger doc. I guess its a bug/feature depending who you ask. Re: Another InDesign Question - laarree - 02-15-2008 You can try exporting to .inx format, then opening the .inx file in InDesign to create a fresh .indd file. I bet that would work. Exporting to .inx (InDesign Interchange format) and opening it in InDesign is a risk-free way to sometimes fix seemingly intractable weirdness in InDesign such as mysteriously undeletable swatches, etc. Re: Another InDesign Question - MysteryGuest - 02-15-2008 Thanks, guys! |
