Problem with Autofill - testcase - 02-18-2006

Occasionally, the Zip code box I'm filling out on a form won't accept all five digits (sometimes it fine). Instead of 11934, it will only accept 1934. Of course, this causes problems and the form won't be accepted. It's intermittent and, I have no idea why this is happening. I'm guessing some file is corrupt; probably a Preference file (although, wouldn't the problem be all the time if this were the case?). Can somebody please tell me specifically what preference file I should delete so I can reset the Zip code? If I'm wrong about this being a Preference file problem, where should I be looking? I'm running a Dual 1.25GHz MDD with 2GB of RAM on OS X 10.3.9 and Safari 1.3.2 (v312.5). TIA! Wink

Take a look in Safari Preference, under 'AutoFill'??

Unfortunately it's not that simple. I think I need something along the line of: "com.apple.Setup Assistant.plist". I just can't seem to find the "...plist" file that I can delete that would control the unusual, intermittant problem I'm experiencing. C'mon gus; I know one of you can point me in the right direction!
