Need Help Tidying Photo Files - Penguin - 02-19-2006 Hi, I'm finally trying to tidy my photo files into an Original Photos Folder so I can keep an original copy before loading into iPhoto, Aperture and/or Lightroom etc. So I have a huge folder containing a number of differently name copies of most of my photos and I have many photos only in the maze of folders that is iPhoto. Can anyone help me with the following; 1) Good program to highlight copies of the same files within the same folder - needs to check much more that the file name since many have been changeed over time. 2) Any automated way to dump all photos ( originals and edited versions ) out of iphoto into a separate folder ?? Thanks for any help, Brian PS I tried a Smart Folder with the idea of copying everything from there into a normal folder then deleting copies etc but it uncovered 22000 files (images), I have at most 7000 photos !! Re: Need Help Tidying Photo Files - AlphaDog - 02-19-2006 I'm glad that's your project and not mine! Take a look at QPict. There's a demo, so you could download it and see if there's a way to make it do what you want. http://runelindman.com/qpict/index.html Re: Need Help Tidying Photo Files - Penguin - 02-19-2006 Hi, thanks for the info on QPict - it looks like the kind of program I might start using as soon as I have everything organised.
