Whose bright idea was this? - graylocks - 04-24-2008 i just realized that Lost and ER are on at the same time now. yes - i still watch ER! now i gotta fire up the vcr so i can tape one and tivo the other. i could watch one live but life's to short to sit through commercials. Re: Whose bright idea was this? - ztirffritz - 04-24-2008 Isn't that what Bittorrent was invented for? Re: Whose bright idea was this? - Black Landlord - 04-24-2008 Does lost start up new again tomorrow? Re: Whose bright idea was this? - jdc - 04-24-2008 you can watch Lost online in HD for free if you are a "TV" person, then you need a DVR like yesterday Re: Whose bright idea was this? - RgrF - 04-24-2008 I just caught up the last three seasons of commercial free Lost here----> http://www.surfthechannel.com/show/television/Lost.html Re: Whose bright idea was this? - jdc - 04-24-2008 sorry, those HD losts are here http://dynamic.abc.go.com/streaming/landing?lid=ABCCOMGlobalMenu&lpos=FEP looks great on my 24" imac Re: Whose bright idea was this? - olnacl - 04-24-2008 Time to buy a TiVo HD or I'll sell you my Series 2 DT (dual tuner) cheap. I replaced it with a TiVo HD. Re: Whose bright idea was this? - Black Landlord - 04-24-2008 Is LOST a new episode tonight? Did I miss a new one last week? Re: Whose bright idea was this? - Black Landlord - 04-24-2008 Oh, never mind, I see it is. Yahoo TV gives the episode an 85% rating already. Both shows are available for viewing the next day at the respective networks' sites, if bittorrent is not your thing (me likey bittorrent-- can watch show in the bathtub). Re: Whose bright idea was this? - graylocks - 04-24-2008 [quote olnacl]Time to buy a TiVo HD or I'll sell you my Series 2 DT (dual tuner) cheap. I replaced it with a TiVo HD. i did that i had a TiVo. are there TiVos that can record 2 shows at the same time? as for bitttorrent, i tried once to figure that out and was beyond my fudging it tolerance, at least for that day's energy. plus, bittorrent or watching online means sitting at my desk to watch it. not comfy like settling on the couch with some popcorn and pillows! this type of situation is one of the reasons i've left the vcr hooked up though i've never had to employ it. |
