mail.app only retrieving some messages - Mr Downtown - 05-13-2008
Here's a puzzler. Since last Friday or so, mail.app is only bringing me about 15 percent of my email. I'm on several active listservs, so I get about 150 emails every day, but mail.app is only bringing me about 20-30 of them. If I log in using webmail (I have an RCN mailbox) I can see the other messages sitting there, but mail.app won't go get them.

Is this just one account or do you have multiple accounts?

Now that you mention it, I use a gmail account for a couple of the listservs. I think those may be the only ones getting through. I forgot that's a separate mailbox that mail.app is querying.
Since my login and password work just fine on the web interface, I wonder what might have gone wrong in mail.app?

Maybe your accounts are just off-line. Check your /Mail/Online status ??
