wow, even the faithful know that palin was a reckless decision by mccain no matter what they write for their bosses.

it took peggy noonan quite awhile but she finally spoke the truth!

Even more interesting is that Noonan then went on to write a column that waffled her real thoughts into something like "she'll either be great or awful" as a nominee. A column that clearly did not reflect what she actually thought.

Those predisposed to think her column actually reflects her thoughts are likely to read her with a more jaundiced eye in the future.

Like her or hate her, it's hard to imagine Maureen Dowd not saying what she really thinks. The difference between a writer and a political hack I suppose.
