He is darling! - samintx - 09-03-2008 Palin's future son in law. What a doll. Re: He is darling! - rgG - 09-03-2008 To bad the doll didn't have one of these in his wardrobe. ![]() Re: He is darling! - Black Landlord - 09-03-2008 You made me curious-- this is the first page I could find with a pic: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/09/03/earlyshow/main4409506.shtml?source=mostpop_story Not my type, you can have him. Re: He is darling! - (vikm) - 09-04-2008 The kid sounds like a real piece of work. I'd excuse one or two things just because he's young but the overall portrait is not worthy of even the slightest admiration. "Johnston's mother is quoted as saying this is no shotgun wedding -- that the two teens had plans to marry even before they knew Bristol was pregnant. On his MySpace page, which has now been made private, Johnston reportedly said he's in a relationship, but didn't want to have kids. " "As the News puts it, "On his MySpace page, Johnston proudly declares: 'I'm a f---in' redneck.' 'I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing,' he says on the site. He also warns that if anyone messes with him, 'I'll kick ass.' " Re: He is darling! - rgG - 09-04-2008 I can't couldn't gush over this type of union, no matter what color, ethnicity, religious preference the kids are. One stupid, stupid mistake will alter their lives forever. They are not prepared to be parents, she isn't even going to graduate from high school before she is a mom. To have this happen in this day and time when it can be prevented, and not just by abstinence, is just sad. I don't think a comment like, he is darling, is appropriate. He may be physically attractive, but I find his lack of responsibility in this matter appalling and anything but darling. As for him marrying the girl, that doesn't fix the problem, it just makes it more socially acceptable. Too many kids wind up like this. I worry about my daughter and her friends. We have had so many talks about this it is ridiculous. You can never be sure what your kids will or will not do, but at least we have discussed this. She knows that I want her to wait, but that I want her to protect herself from pregnancy and disease even more. I hope we never find ourselves in this situation, it would not be darling at all. Re: He is darling! - Grateful11 - 09-04-2008 You mean this fine young man here? I hope that's not a salute to America. ![]() Re: He is darling! - samintx - 09-04-2008 [quote rgG]To bad the doll didn't have one of these in his wardrobe. ![]() I'm not getting this response unless this picture is anacronism for a condom |
