Boy, she's really adding to her stature by sitting across from these people with her legs crossed and smiling for the cameras. Yes sir, she's up to the job now. A regular Henry Kissinger.

Frankly I have had it, and I know a lot of other women out there who are with me on this. I have had enough of the sexist treatment of Sarah Palin. It has to end.
She was in New York on Tuesday meeting with world leaders at the U.N. And what did the McCain campaign do?
They tried to ban reporters from covering those meetings. And they did ban reporters from asking Gov. Palin any questions.
I call upon the McCain campaign to stop treating Sarah Palin like she is a delicate flower who will wilt at any moment.
This woman is from Alaska for crying out loud. She is strong, she is tough, she is confident. And you claim she is ready to be one heartbeat away from the presidency. If that is the case, then end this chauvinistic treatment of her now. Allow her to show her stuff. Video Watch a debate on whether the GOP is hiding Palin ยป
Allow her to face down those pesky reporters just like Barack Obama did today, just like John McCain did today. Just like Joe Biden has done on numerous occasions. Let her have a real news conference with real questions.
By treating Sarah Palin differently from other candidates in this race, you are not showing her the respect she deserves.
Free Sarah Palin.
Free her from the chauvinistic chains you are binding her with.
Sexism in this campaign must come to an end. Sarah Palin has as much a right to be a real candidate in this race as the men do.
So let her act like one.

McCain's only ploy is to be sexist. He cannot let her face the press. She is not ready. She is not qualified.

I deeply suspect you're right. I really hate the sexist comments about her ability to lead while being a mother. But I'm afraid if they let her open her mouth, they'll realize there is not substance. Just a policitician with a pretty face...sad.

This is pretty funny. I agree, Palin's ready for prime time, the excessive micromanaging just fuels the critics. She's got a much tougher audience, and more bloodthirsty critics, but not because she's a woman. If Palin were to mispronounce the name of the Assistant to the Secretary of Labor, it would be a New York Times cover story the next morning, and the lead story on CBS News for the next three days. If Joe Biden went on "Meet the Press", took his pants off, ran around the studio screaming "Get these squirrels off me, get these squirrels off me!!!" on live TV, the press would just shrug and say "oh, that's just Joe..."

First, thats an excellent campaign strategy.
Every mistake that Palin makes proves the point that she's unqualified. Biden can say dumb things because he can also turn around and proves knows something.
If the McCain camp doesn't want us extrapolating like that remove Palin from her vitrine.

Biden can say and do dumb things and he gets a free pass along with Obama, from the Democrats...simply because they are the Democratic Candidates.
No matter what these guys say, do, or don't do a lot of folks seem to have blind faith.
It is amazing that there is plenty of room for doubt on both sides of this race, but Palin is always the one in question.
