No recipe, but my dad makes great sangria and we enjoy it year 'round.

Start with a good red or white wine. Chop up oranges, limes, apples, grapes, and strawberries and toss the fruit in to the pitcher or jug. Let it "marinate" overnight and taste. If needed, mix up a bit of simple syrup and add before serving.

Once in a while he'll do a citrus only version with white wine but most often he does red wine with all kinds of fruit.

Enjoy!

Watch it--this stuff goes down easy and has a kick.

1 liter decent red or white wine
3 oz. brandy
3 oz. triple sec
2 tbsp sugar
1 lemon, sliced
1 orange, sliced
1 apple, sliced
6 oz. club soda
Mix ingredients in a large pitcher and chill.
