Class Dis - missed - BCam - 09-25-2008 OK - so there's a deal for a $700 Billion Bailout. It seems as though my status has changed from "Taxpayer" to "Investor". As such, can the new "class" of Investors file a class action lawsuit to burrow down to the root cause of my bad investment - the PEOPLE who actually caused it, and make them financially and legally responsible for their actions or inactions?? I ask because the classic protection from legal action/responsibility has traditionally been you cannot sue the Government. But since the Government is now a Business, that protection would seem to be moot. Just asking. Re: Class Dis - missed - Seacrest - 09-25-2008 I've got pitchforks. Can you scare up some torches? [:not really sure which smiley to use here:] Re: Class Dis - missed - BCam - 09-25-2008 We use Kotex pads soaked in coal oil in the movies. Will that do? If we use 'em, at least some cash will flow back into the economy! Re: Class Dis - missed - rgG - 09-25-2008 BCam wrote: I really didn't need that visual today. :nono: |
