in this day and age, how could the McCain campaign not appreciate the glare of scrutny highlighting "joe the plumber" in the debate would bring to the man's life. in the future, i bet any common folk named publicly will have their life vetted first and perhaps even permission secured to talk about them. in the meantime, i hope the McCain campaign sends joe a check for his back taxes. actually, Obama just might...

Guys, step back and think about it. This guy steps up and poses a question about his personal plans. Instead of clearly evaluating the options and discussing each plan, the media attacks him personally.
It's a CLASSIC Ad-Hominem attack.
WHO CARES if the guy is a plant from the McCain campaign, an unlicensed plumber, or an illegal alien from Venus ? Isn't the question still relevant ? Has anyone answered it with actual math ?
