Here it comes! - incognegro - 10-22-2008 i thought of this: [at a meeting with the assistant principal, who's got a big unsightly growth on her face] Anita: I'm Anita Hoargarth. Buck Russell: [Staring at it] I'm Buck Melanoma. Moley Russell's wart. Not her wart. Not her wart! I'm... I'm the wart. She's my tumor. My... my growth. My... uh, my pimple. I'm Uncle Wart. Just old Buck "Wart" Russell. That's what they call me, or Melanoma Head. They'll call me that. "Melanoma Head's coming." I'm s... uncle! Maisy Russell's uncle! ![]() Re: Get ready! Here it comes! - cbelt3 - 10-23-2008 NO, but I can share a fond moleish memory. Our late Lhasa Apso when she was a pup, furiously digging a hole where she heard a mole, sticking her nose in the hole every few seconds and barking . Behind her were four large black cats (ours). Eventually she reached the mole, and it popped out behind her in the middle of all the dirt flying around. One of the cats grabbed it and raced off, followed by the rest of the cats. Our Lhasa kept digging and barking for at least two minutes, then stopped and looked around as if to say "Hey- where did everybody go ?" She was a good dog, just not the sharpest tool in the shed. Our current Chihuhuas are hot death on moles in the fenced in back yard. We hear barking, see digging, and then a dead mole is laid out on the back patio for our inspection. All praise to the destroyers of moles ! |
