Good/best method to clean up eMacs? - incognegro - 10-23-2008 Got a few used eMacs for a song. They have some scuffing & marks, is there a good light abrasive cleaner that will take most of this off? Something like SoftScrub, perhaps? Scratch X? http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=285569 Polywatch? http://www.amazon.com/POLYWATCH-PLASTIC-REMOVER-REMOVES-SCRATCHES-ACRYLIC-TUBE/dp/B0014R9V9O Re: Good/best method to clean up eMacs? - Buzz - 10-23-2008 rubbing compound, then toothpaste Re: Good/best method to clean up eMacs? - MacMagus - 10-23-2008 I refurb a lot of computers. I use Softscrub. It works great. It even takes off tough stickers. I just rub it in with a dry paper towel and then wipe it off with a wet paper towel. Re: Good/best method to clean up eMacs? - Harbourmaster - 10-23-2008 Mister Clean Magic Erasers work great on everything except scuffs/scratches! They will even remove permanant marker from most plastic and painted surfaces!!! Re: Good/best method to clean up eMacs? - voodoopenguin - 10-23-2008 I've done the toothpaste treatment and been given many compliments about how fresh my old computers smell.
