Feeding wireless video baby monitor into my MacPro? - elahon - 10-31-2008

Don't know if this is possible, but is there an app that will pull the feed from my wireless baby monitor and display it on my Mac? Is this even in the realm of possibility without painful hacks and expensive upgrades?

The video camera sits in the baby's room and feeds to a chunky little TV screen that I keep in my office.

Thanks guys!

EyeTV does that quite nicely.
I have six video security cams running into mine, you can do it quite cheaply these days.
PM me.

It really depends on how the feed from your baby monitor works. Is there some sort of video out jack on the wireless receiver?

Cool, thanks. I'll look into it. Do your video cameras hook directly in, or are they wireless? I didn't see any wireless receiver type hardware on their site.

The camera just plugs into the wall, and the screen is just a little 5" that also just plugs into the wall. No extra jacks or anything.

EyeTV software for video capture control.
Hardware can differ, that is why I requested a PM.
What is the brand/type of BabyCam?

My setup.:
Six wireless VidCams.
Six receivers.
Six Miglia MicroTV sticks.
One DPG5 1.8GHz Mac (It's a spare I had laying around.)
All controlled by EyeTV v2.5 software.
