Dennis would win, alas, He's the "totally" kind of crazy. We can only hope he loses this election, but it's very, very doubtful. His constituents don't want him back in Cleveland screwing things up.

I'm lucky to NOT be represented by him. He does NOT represent his district at all. He spends his time grandstanding and running for President. Every time he gets his little political fingers into something that is going FUBAR here in Ohio, it gets worse.
They usually don't even tell him when stuff is happening back home so he doesn't eff it up.
The man is a complete and utter moron, and always has been. He is the person who is #1 responsible for the collapse of Cleveland, because when he was mayor he ran many of the good companies out of town with his Marxist philosophies and arrogance. You have to remember that he literally defaulted on Cleveland's loans by refusing to deal, destroyed the city's credit rating, and made the city incapable of rebuilding from the rust-belt collapse of the late 1970's and early 1980's. Other cities built their way out of it. Cleveland is still struggling because of Dennis the Menace's horrific legacy.
I lived in Cleveland while he was mayor. It was like Detroit in the Robo Cop movies. If he had a credible chance at becoming president I would personally work very hard to defeat him.

incorrect, vis. Pittsburgh was in the same boat, and they've mostly pulled it out with their Renaissance project. Cleveland's rebirth was aborted by Dennis.
What do we have to pin our city's future on now ?
Tax Exempt Non Profit Healthcare corporations- the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and the University Hospitals corporation.
Huge monolithic healthcare facilities offering the best healthcare in the world. To those who can pay for it. And that do not pay any taxes to the city for the acres and acres of expensive state of the art facilities. Built on the demolished houses of those who could not pay for health care and died off, and housing values that died with the collapsed , unfunded school system because the biggest property owners in the city DO NOT PAY TAXES.
What can I say ? We're effing stupid.
Oh, and the man's policies affected me personally when he cut back on paying the cops, and they stopped coming to calls, and the building I lived in was firebombed and NOBODY CAME. So you can say that I have a 30 year old grudge against Dennis the Menace.
