Aged him already? - graylocks - 11-03-2008 is it just me or is Obama already looking much older than he did in January? ![]() i'm always amazed by the before/after pictures of a president. i told someone the other day I would never want the job considering what it does to your hair. in 2000 ![]() Re: Aged him already? - AlphaDog - 11-03-2008 I, too, was noticing a week or so ago how much Geedubya has aged. The same thing happened to Clinton over his eight years. As far as the hair is concerned, well, they both have more color left than I do, and we're all about the same age! I do have one son, though. Heh, heh, heh. Avoiding the responsibilities of the presidency might not help you out much in that regard. ![]() Re: Aged him already? - Mike Sellers - 11-03-2008 Yeah, I noticed the other day that Obama is getting grayer. As far as Bush, I'm surprised he hasn't aged more. Maybe it's starting to sink in that perhaps God didn't want him to win after all. Re: Aged him already? - cbelt3 - 11-03-2008 It's a killer of a job. Even Teddy Roosevelt got seriously gray (may have also been his asthma), and JFK had to to a lot of steroids to resolve his back problems. Literally the weight of the world can and will fall on your back. The Presidential campaign trail is kind of like a physical fitness test. Re: Aged him already? - (vikm) - 11-03-2008 (First off, I'm hoping Obama wins.) Now, I've also noticed the "grayer" hair and consciously wondered if it was a natural progression. I know this may seem a bit consp. theorist but I could totally see the campaign "enhancing" the gray. One of the attacks on him is that he lacks experience. Well, with perception and appearance being so important, a fresh-faced, darker haired guy is going to probably seem less convincing that someone with a touch of gray. It's possible that he used to darken it or he now lightens it. It's also entirely possible that it is just the rigors of the campaigning and lack of sleep for almost 2 years. You already freely admit to having 'gray' locks, so what's the worst that could happen? graylocks 0-12! Re: Aged him already? - incognegro - 11-03-2008 this is another good reason that a 72 year old man shouldn't be elected President. Re: Aged him already? - MacGurl - 11-03-2008 Yeah - Obama got more grey in his hair over the campaign also. I'm sure today's events won't help either. It's a grueling process - I'm surprised any of them make it out without dying from exhaustion.
