A proprietary port that needs a special adapter or only connects between certain devices? Each one will have certain advantages and disadvantages, for example, FireWire is probably the most useful and reliable, but USB is the most prevalent. Practically all camcorders since Digital8 or Mini DV will have the DV Out port I think, but not all will do analog pass-through for your conversions. |
