Telesteps 12.5 foot telescoping ladder- thumbs up! - mikebw - 12-08-2008 I purchased one of these from eCost.com during their Black Friday sale. Well I got to try it out this weekend and I am very happy with it. It's light, easy to expand, reasonably study and collapses to a very small size. I was able to put up christmas lights around the front door and along the front gutter very quickly. You can extend the height in seconds and moving it around is a cinch. I would highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't have a lot of room for a traditional A-frame step ladder, or needs the versatility of a ladder that can be anywhere from 2 to 12 feet tall. Of course you can really stand at 12 feet safely, unless you have something to hold on to, but you can stand at 9 feet safely according the instructions. Great for going up in the attic too since it can extend up past the ceiling. I still have to use a "little giant" type ladder to get up past 12 feet, or anywhere I need a free standing ladder, but this telescoping ladder will get a lot of use since it is so much easier to maneuver. http://www.ecost.com/Detail.aspx?edp=42553666&navid=155441519 Looks like it's actually just $89 right now, which is a great deal. I liked the ladder so well that I bought a second one for use at home. Very light weight, reasonably sturdy, and very convenient to use and store. I have two serious extension ladders, but will use the Telesteps whenever possible. Re: Telesteps 12.5 foot telescoping ladder- thumbs up! - mikebw - 12-09-2008 mjgkramer wrote: Ahh yes, very good!
