I need a more powerful one - will2000 - 12-09-2008
....... LED flashlight that is. Last year I bought a 3Watt, 3AA Maglight at Lowes (or Home Depot, I forget).
I like this skinny format better that the 2 D cell Maglight. It was too late for online orders so I went B+M. This time I will not procrastinate. (famous last words, I know)
What seems to be the LED deal this holiday season without breaking the bank? Let's say $25-$30 or so.

My local Target has a full-size 3-LED flashlight that comes with a tiny tripod on clearance sale at half price for $19 this week.

When I started typing the subject line it crossed my mind that it could be interpreted many ways.
Anyway, I thought there were many LED enthusiasts here. I did search the forum a bit, and followed those links. The high-powered LED flashlights seem to be expensive. I'll look and read some more.

Go for one with a CREE LED.
