pretty funny, a seller on Amazon marketplace has them at $4200. Looks like they're still going for $3k+ on eBay. Tempting to buy from Adorama & sell on eBay, but I don't really feel like the hassle.

The 5D I gotta have it now so I will pay 25-50% more crowd is going to be really bummed. After 2 or 3 weeks stores have regular stock. Looks like Canon is cranking them out pretty quick. Always a lag though I guess in perception.

Truth be told I was even considering waiting a bit longer to see if they pop up on some of the electronic chain store sites. Some of their "no interest for xxxxxx" is pretty tempting on something like this.

I am not even a high end photographer but I love the ablity to shoot hd video.
Seriously this technology is a game changer in the world of dslr if a laymen like me takes notice.

I have an hd Sony I have been using and I ponder if my projects would benefit from the larger chip. My lens options would also be much more extensive.
