Free Macworld Expo 2010 Floor Passes Available Now! - Doc - 01-12-2009 No kidding. https://register.rcsreg.com/regos-1.0/macsf2010/ga/index2.html Re: Free Macworld Expo 2010 Floor Passes Available Now! - OWC Larry - 01-12-2009 Free for all... clearing working on getting exhibitors by having early registrations. This CES announcement is going to make next year very interesting. http://news.cnet.com/8301-13579_3-10139861-37.html?part=rss&subj=news&tag=2547-1_3-0-20 Re: Free Macworld Expo 2010 Floor Passes Available Now! - Spiff - 01-12-2009 So help me out. If you just register for the "expo", what does that get you? What else is there? Seminars? I've never even considered going to Macworld before... Thanks! Edit: Got it! There's the showroom floor, and then there's the conference (meetings, i assume). Re: Free Macworld Expo 2010 Floor Passes Available Now! - davester - 01-12-2009 Next year the Expo will be a little smaller. I hear that it'll be held in the Macworld editor's 2-car garage. Some people want to see Macworld fail. - RAMd®d - 01-13-2009 That's why I registered on Friday, the last day of MWSF 2008, for MWSF 2009. I'm hoping that by having a lot of people register *very* early, MW and vendors will see that there will still be a lot of interest. This doesn't have to be a self-fulfilling prophecy. Some people only go to MW for the Apple Keynote and booth. Those people won't be there next year. Buh-bye. But I was there all four days (the Expo Floor) and there were tons of people at all the booths, all days. Apple's demos were SRO the whole time, but there were enough people to go 'round to even the little vendors. I'd like to see IDG sponsor some free and cheaper Sessions. This might help get those attendees back who thought that Apple was Macworld. |
