Canon BP511 or BP511a battery life ? - guod - 01-12-2009 Can someone give me an estimated lifespan of a Canon BP511 or BP511a Battery ? I'm thinking mine are about due for replacement. I use a Canon 20D, and most of my photos are without flash Also, while we're at it, what's the difference between the 511 and 511a ? Thanks Re: Canon BP511 or BP511a battery life ? - haikuman - 01-13-2009 http://sterlingtek.com/cabpbpbaandc.html?engine=sterlingtek+google&keyword=BP511+132ST56 http://sterlingtek.com/cabpbp20eqba.html I think the 511A is the Equiv. to Canons Original 511 but with a different maH rating <2000mAH > "SterlingTek" has Great Customer Service... why not give them a call or email...? I have a small quiver of batteries I rotate. I think I have had them going on 4yrs now Rudie *(:>* Re: Canon BP511 or BP511a battery life ? - pRICE cUBE - 01-13-2009 It depends on how much you use them and how you run them down. My method, Use it for 9 months to a year, sell it on ebay while they are still decent, buy new ones, repeat. Re: Canon BP511 or BP511a battery life ? - guod - 01-13-2009 Thanks for both posts. I've recently noticed that my battery life seems to have decreased. They are both more than a year old, but I'm sure I don't use them as much as pRICE. I've also been known to run them completely out from time to time before recharging. Thanks again. |
