. . .YMMV depending on your local Radishack store. . .but they seem to be clearing out TiVo items. . .I also saw a TiVo unit discounted. . .

. . .FYI as I've heard..the advantage of the TiVo adapter is that it uses WPA encryption and people say the speed is faster than using non-TiVo adapters. . .

It's for using wireless instead of telephone or cable ethernet to phone home. Of course, if you have multiple Tivos you can do some transferring between them. I'm using a Aiprort Express plugged in the wall near mine so I can connect it with a cable. This would be nice for me if I can find one.

I snagged one this morning. Hooked up and working. My Airport Express is now Free for alternative duties. Thank you NewtonMP2100.

Is it limited to Tivos, or will it work as a wireless base station for anything?
