Hidden health "care" reforms in "Stimulus" bill - MacManMaz - 02-10-2009 The tag team of Pelosi and Reid are hittin the canvas again. Secretly slipping health care rationing into the stimulus bill like an inmate slipping a shiv across our throats. If you are old, fat, smoke, or don't fit the new government's definition of a good health risk, you will not get health care. If you voted for change, you got it. Re: Hidden health "care" reforms in "Stimulus" bill - $tevie - 02-10-2009 This topic is hitting all the message boards this morning. Which talk radio show is this derived from? Such insight. How do you do it all? Re: Hidden health "care" reforms in "Stimulus" bill - samintx - 02-10-2009 I can hardly wait to be told "the experimental treatment isn't going to be given you" or "you will have to just endure the pain in old age. No meds or treatment for you". Knee wear out. Live with it. Where did BHO get so quickly smart on all these complicated topics since in Congress he always voted "present"? Unless you have ideas on how to make this country a better place, move along. You sir sound a lot like those "crybabies" that "attack whomever they wish". 3. That's OK with me because I defend your right to free speech, something that you seem to take offense at. Re: Hidden health "care" reforms in "Stimulus" bill - cbelt3 - 02-10-2009 sigh. ANY form of managed healthcare will restrict.. healthcare. We, as a nation, are addicted to revolutionary lifesaving technologies. And to suing health providers when we don't get sci-fi movie class treatment. In healthcare, like in all things, you get what you pay for. Anyone who claims otherwise is selling something. You seem to take offense at this, maybe you are not in that group, maybe you are. I guess you are ok with the talking points, though. 2. I am pretty much in the middle, as there are smart folks and idiots (Limbaugh, Maher) on both sides. I am sick and tired of folks undercutting others in the US to get "what they want". If that makes me a crybaby, so be it. But to throw stones back so easily, puts you in a similar group. 3. Say what you want, I defend that as well. I don't have a problem with you saying what you want; in the end you have to judge if it makes the world a better place, and what I see now is that many people in the US are not making this place a better place to live. We need REAL HELP in the US and you can call me every name you can think of, but the BOTTOM LINE is that we need to correct the DISASTROUS course we are headed on, and the republicans, who got us into this mess, are doing no good for this country. Banks routinely crap on people and when we bail them out for bad business decisions they make, they STILL hand out rewards. |
