"U2 takes a week on David Letterman's `Late Show'

NEW YORK (AP) - Make room, Paul Shaffer. U2 will be on David Letterman's "Late Show" for a full week to promote their upcoming album.
The band will be Letterman's musical guest each night from March 2 to 6. It's the first time a musical guest has been given a solid week on the CBS show.
U2's new album, "No Line on the Horizon," is to be released that week. The band played its first single, "Get on Your Boots," to kick off the Grammy Awards on Sunday.
The band last appeared on the "Late Show" in October 2001."

Copycats. Neil Young appeared for a week on the Conan O'Brien show back in '05.

My wife, who actually liked (past tense) Joaquin Phoenix (pre-clip), could not watch the full clip. She said he was either very nervous or stoned (I say both).

The White Stripes are set to play the final night of ‘Late Night With Conan O’Brien‘.
The duo will play their first gig since 2007 on February 20 when Conan will leave “Late Night” to take over hosting duties on “The Tonight Show“.
This isn’t the duo’s first performance on the late night talk show, infact they played the show for an entire week back in 2003.
Conan also appeared on the band’s music video for ‘Denial Twist‘.
So if you want to catch the final episode and see what I am sure will be an amazing performance tune in February 20 on NBC.
