Regarding (and not hijacking) Psurfer's Mail post - What's the mail app of choice? - olnacl - 03-09-2009 I am tired of Mail and its foibles. I used to use Eudora, tried Thunderbird, would like to keep the Synching feature. Is there anything out there that's really good? Re: Regarding (and not hijacking) Psurfer's Mail post - What's the mail app of choice? - karsen - 03-09-2009 I use Mail.app. Every app has its "foibles" but Mail integrates best with iCal, To Dos, Dashboard, etc. Re: Regarding (and not hijacking) Psurfer's Mail post - What's the mail app of choice? - StingMe - 03-09-2009 I'm still hanging on to Eudora under Leopard and keeping an eye on Infinity Data System's Odysseus ( now "MailForge" ) Project - currently at version 1.0 Beta 18: http://infinitydatasystems.com/mailforge/ "Designed from the ground up to run on the latest versions of Mac OS X and Windows, the goal of the MailForge Project is to duplicate the features that have made Eudora® such a powerful and popular email client, while at the same time improving on the areas where it started to lag behind." Re: Regarding (and not hijacking) Psurfer's Mail post - What's the mail app of choice? - Spock - 03-09-2009 I still use Eudora on 10.4 but will give MailForge (formerly known as Odysseus) a trial when I migrate to 10.5. Having used Eudora for well over a decade I'm very reluctant to give up on a tried and trusted product that is so versatile. I downloaded a trial version and briefly set it up, but never got around to giving it a real burn in. http://www.outspring.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=64 ![]() Re: Regarding (and not hijacking) Psurfer's Mail post - What's the mail app of choice? - papercup - 03-09-2009 Entourage. Like StingMe, I'm eagerly awaiting a stable Odysseus/Mailforge. The last beta I tried looked very promising, but was still too buggy importing Eudora Mailboxes, and wouldn't connect to a couple mail servers I tried. That WAS many Beta's ago, however. |
