Almost makes me sympathetic to the republican pundits - except where were they when the republicans were wasting our money in even worse ways the past 8 years?

Where is the modern CCC or WPA? Too bad we're not building up our roads to the state parks and other long-lasting projects.

Why not ask Bill G to just pay for this bridge from last week's personal profits?

The lessons we learned from the stimulus debate was that there is no such thing as wasteful spending. Obama himself pooh poohed this argument and said any sort of spending is by definition stimulus. So it is a little late for this sort of outrage.
