There goes another tabu-not paying taxes - Mac1337 - 04-01-2009

With another nominee "discovering" she didn't pay her taxes, I think the country has pretty much accepted this as a part of their resume. I suspect it won't even make the headlines let alone derail her nomination. High officials not paying taxes is now added to other former tabus like sex with the interns, soliciting sex in bathrooms, going back on campaign pledges and receiving money from people you are supposed to regulate. No big deal.

She paid taxes, just not enough. She was nominated, decided to have her taxes reviewed by an accountant, and was told there were errors. Over a 3 year period a total of $8,000 more was due, which was paid with amended returns. But a dim bulb like you calls that "she didn't pay her taxes" as if none were paid.

Did you mean Taboo, or Tuba?

I suggest you leave such lame excuses for her attorney. IRS makes no such distinction. You either pay your taxes or you don't. I almost paid my taxes doesn't cut it. Besides, I am defending her. I said it is not a big deal anymore.

BS you are. You have no credibility to be make any such claim as "Besides, I am defending her." As for paying, the amended tax returns also included penalties in that $8,000 total. At this level it is a civil matter, I don't see the IRS going for fraudulent filing charges.

I think Dakota speaks the truth here.
Like many many others, he woke up on January 21st suddenly staunchly anti-taxation.
This woman will surely be hailed as a brave hero by the conservatives.

There's a Bollywood actress named Tabu. Maybe she doesn't pay taxes, either.

Hey Barbie, are you ignoring me or not? I want to know.

Who is Barbie? Forum name search returns nothing. Are you making more errors, Dakota?
