How do they link these two books? - voodoopenguin - 04-18-2009 I love Amazon's wacky thought processes sometimes. An email my wife received today. ********************************************* Greetings from Amazon.co.uk, As someone who has purchased or rated The Sampler Quilt Book by Lynne Edwards you might like to know that Professional Bartending is now available. You can order yours for just £8.99 (40% off the RRP) by following the link below. Professional Bartending Adam W Freeth RRP: £14.99 Price: £8.99 You Save: £6.00 (40%) Re: How do they link these two books? - olnacl - 04-18-2009 They figure that quilting will drive her to drink and they want her to be prepared? Re: How do they link these two books? - The UnDoug - 04-18-2009 Those new to knitting often throw up their hands in despair. Those new to drinking often throw up.... :-) Best I could come up with. Re: How do they link these two books? - AlphaDog - 04-18-2009 Do you and your wife share one Amazon account, and you were recently looking at something that could be related to bartending? Or, might she have been visiting the site, secretly looking for something to give to you as a gift? Each time I follow a link from something in the Wish List for one of the kids or, occasionally, just follow a link posted here by someone, the "recommendations" for me become very strange for a while. Re: How do they link these two books? - TheCaber - 04-18-2009 It's the 'sampler' that's the tie-in. Jello shots vs. finish knots. Or the books weigh the same. Or have the same color end papers. Good grief. |
