Re: Are sub $200 SD video cameras any good? - Dick Moore - 04-19-2009 I just bought an Insignia 720p handi-cam at Best Buy for $150. Not great, but cheap and extremely compact -- about the size of an iPhone. Takes as big an SD HC card as you want to stuff in it. For family fun/make memories type shooting only. Nice analog to 8mm film from the old days -- not great, but video quality wasn't and isn't the main issue. It also takes 5MP stills and is an MP3 player. Going to Hawaii tomorrow to try it out, |
