The Apple In Ear headphones will work with the new iPhone 3Gs - Ken Sp. - 06-08-2009

They are listed as compatible with the new iPhone model!!!

I assume the remote and volume control will work. Maybe these will ship with the new iPhone---probably not.

I though they work with the *current* 3G so I'd think they would work with the 3GS.

They don't work completely with the 2G.

They're standard with the 3GS models.

They are simply Headphones with the current iPhone--the mic and the button work I think. but volume control does not....I think.

Photo in tech specs for the 3G S show the normal erabuds, not the in ear ones.

Ken, I guess I was confusing the Touch with the 3G 'Phone, because they are fully functional with *some* current Apple iron.

If you go to the Apple Store and click on the 3GS icon, then scroll down until you get to the 8G vs 16/32G comparison chart, you'll see that the 8G gets the Stereo headset with mic while the 16/32Gs get the Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic.

Weird---sometimes these details get worked out after they have seen the light of day for awhile.

Thanks for the info.
