Just placed my $9.95 Snow Leopard up-to-date order online - rgG - 08-01-2009

http://www.apple.com/macosx/uptodate/

Since my daughter's new MacBook Pro, purchased on Thursday, qualifies for the Snow Leopard $9.99 upgrade, I just place my order for her Snow Leopard upgrade online. Orders for the upgrade must be place within 90 days of purchase and the $9.95 pricing applies to computers, both new and refurbished qualifying computers, purchased on or after June 8th.

ok, I go to that page, click on the section for apple store customers, it asks for my password, then it goes to my 'cart' which is empty. If I search for snow leopard up to date, it takes me to the same page, I click on the section for apple store customers, asks for my password, then empty cart page.

WTF? Endless time loop...

Since I ordered my refurb mini from the Apple Store all I had to do was enter my apple ID and password. The Up-To-Date package was added to my cart and all I had to do was check out.

Thanks!

Dang. Didn't work, even though I made it through the qualifying phase with date purchase and serial # entered.

Right at checkout it said I "exceeded" the number of allowable up-to-date products or whatever I can do. Wha? But until today I hadn't even attempted it before. Guess I'll download the PDF form and try it the old fashioned-way.
