For the last 2 days, my iphone shows that I have 1 new email. There is no new email, either on the iphone or on my computer. I deleted all of the emails on the iphone. The only other thing I know to try is to shut it off, which is what I did overnight. Still there :confused:
It's not essential that it go away, just an irritant. Any ideas?

If there is a number in read---that signifies an "unread" email--not a new email. Look farther down the list---or in another email account

Thank you - it was an email in another account. Didn't think of that. Now I know :hail:
