That's one thing you really need to call a pro on. Very dangerous to monkey with.

If no pro, post your address so we can send a get well card.

Don't mess with it. Buddy almost broke his arm before giving up and calling the pros.

Well, I'm back. They are actually the internal wayne dalton models. VERY safely built- the springs are all inside a tube, so no worries. Besides, I've handled the big old springs before with no injuries... well, I DID sproing one through a wall once, but it missed my head by at least six inches..... :thumbsup:

And yep, they look like they are busted. And the warranty ? Yup. Wimp. 1 yr for 'springs'. Bastiches.:banghead:
