What is hogging my machine? - Mac1337 - 08-03-2009

I noticed the fan on my MB was on so I restarted. The fan is still on and there is just one app(Safari) running. Some mysterious process called mdworker is eating up the CPU. Killed it several times but keeps coming back. VM size is an incredible 46 GB when noting is running.
