Accessing time machine backup from off-site? - Kiva - 09-09-2009

Ok, i did several variations of search terms and am surprised I didn't find this...maybe I did something wrong...

Can I access my home Time Machine backup from another site (e.g. my work)? I have an external HD connected to a AEBS @ home. Here is the only article I could find on it:

http://theappleblog.com/2009/05/14/access-your-time-capsule-over-the-internet/

would that work? Is that he best way to go about it?

FYI, iCal in Snow Leopard has hosed many of my to-do's. I can find them in spotlight, but they aren't there. I'm hoping TM can retrieve them.

I need to also find an article on how to revert back to Leopard...i just have my TM backup (yes, should have made another clone, i guess....but didn't have another drive)..SL has done nothing for me (thought I would use the exchange support, but my district is on Exchange 2003...go figure.)
