Format for best resolution and audio for video downloads? - cassie - 09-24-2009

At abcyoutube dot com, I see:

Download as MP4

Download as MP3

Download as 3GP

Download as FLV

What format should I use to get the best resolution and audio for video downloads?

I would be using some with iMovie and iDVD...and how does AVI play a part?

Thanks,

cassie

I use MP4. I guess I'd use 3gp for a phone.

AVI is a "wrapper" or "container" that could have any number of video codecs inside, like XviD, DivX, etc.

good point Decay. Most don't know that.

A paperback, hardback, 3 ring binder, and a bunch of college ruled papers stapled together can have EXACTLY the same contents.
