In case you missed it yesterday - the coupon code I posted yesterday is good thru today, if you've ever been interested in an OSX netbook with a 10" screen.

Fully Leopardizeable and Snow Leopardizeable

Refurbed ones show up @ $239 (bringing the total down to $203) occasionally - have to check the inventory often to see them.

Man are they all black? It's hard enough to find things in my already black interior courier bag.

I was really mulling over having Timbuk2 make a custom bag with a WHITE interior.

...colored ones are scooped up quickly......they still have colored ones but only in the higher $299 price range....

is $299 the only way to get the 6 cell battery? and can you bump up the ram to 2gbs?

Without the slash, "FU" doesn't mean what you intend it to.

I've seen a few $279/$289 that had the 6-cell but they went quickly.....you can't bump up the ram as these are 'as is'....you can buy your own and upgrade yourself though......

bah, I give in!

k, now tell me how to trick it out...

I see the directions for installing 10.5, are they exactly the same as 10.6, aside from a different DVD?

This is where you need to know all about it:

http://www.mydellmini.com/forum/general-mac-os-x-discussion/12589-new-release-netbookinstaller-8-2-final-official.html

I have five (four of clients, one for surfing while on the couch) on order. My cost/each was $235 delivered. All 4 for clients will be set up as Windows machines but (of course) mine will be set up with 10.6.x. I also plan on upping the RAM to 2GB and changing the HD to a 320GB WD Black ($73 @ Amazon). You can find some youtube videos showing how it is done - it just takes a little patience, an uncluttered work area (those screws are small and you have to remove the MB at one point) and good lighting (I use a Petzl headlamp when doing surgery like this).

I am clearing out some room in my basement and setting up some folding tables I got from Costco when they arrive for assembly. This should be fun!
